Job Summary: The Solar Site Assessor will conduct on-site studies for residential projects. Your evaluation will consist of taking measurements, completing shade reporting, and the overall qualification for solar panel installation.

Requirements

Part 107 FAA certification.
At least 1 year of experience in construction, solar or PV strongly preferred.
OSHA 10 required.
Valid Apprentice Electrician license required.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Must be willing to travel/commute to various job sites at least 40%, including some weekends, are requested.
Prior experience and knowledge of residential electrical projects.
Must be able to navigate residential roofing systems including multi-story structures.
Ability to withstand heights, be on roofs and climb ladders.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and lift.
Ability to work in 100+ degree weather.
Possess strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Must be highly organized and process-oriented.

Responsibilities

Documenting electrical set-up and capabilities and any existing structure or facility variances.
Survey residential home projects with a drone, taking photos at various heights and angles.
Attending project, weekly operational, and safety meetings.
Effective, accurate & timely communications with Service and Install Dept.
Daily reporting, Computer Skills, Emails, Uploads, and SWF reporting.
Assist other departments as directed.
