About The Position

This role is accountable for executing and improving the Edison Works Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process. This is a monthly business process which includes aggregation of all firm and forecasted demand, key resource planning and detailed shop / supplier capacity modeling over a 10-year planning horizon. The SIOP Leader will work with Program Management, Product Operations, Planning & Fulfillment, Shops and Sourcing to ensure consensus demand and supply plans are in place to support customer requirements. They will own standard work creation and adherence for processes such as demand planning, resource planning, and capacity modeling. They will elevate visibility of decisions required to influence capacity with sufficient lead-time to support EW strategic imperatives and eliminate constraints impacting long-term delivery performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain.(or a high school diploma / GED) with at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain.)
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational alignment of demand and supply plans across the organization to drive clear and effective decision-making.
  • Accountable for all SIOP-related operating rhythms, KPI management, and operational and process improvements; facilitates connectivity across program, engineering and operating partners.
  • Interprets complex internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Responsible for standard work creation and adherence for SIOP-related processes within the New Product Introduction Value Stream Map.
  • Conduct training and follow-up to ensure adoption.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and coach peers on tools and strategies to benefit operating metrics.
  • Facilitate strong partnership across key functions - including Buying, Engineering, Program Management, Shop Planning and Execution, etc.
  • Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others.
  • Operate in gray space to provide structure and process rigor.
