About The Position

Singles Housing Case Manager YWCA Madison is seeking candidates for a Singles Housing Case Manager. The Single Housing Case Manager is responsible for providing case management to residents of the the Singles Housing program, which provides short to long-term affordable housing options for female identifying individuals living independently. The Singles Housing Case Manager provides services to support participants in maintaining housing, securing resources, and improving financial security. The Singles Housing Case Manager will provide culturally inclusive, trauma informed programming and services while incorporating best practices into the program. This is a full-time (36 hours per week), salaried position. We offer an excellent benefits package and starting salary of $50,000/year. The ideal candidate will be experienced in case management and program coordination, have excellent record keeping skills, and knowledge of housing issues and resources. Additionally, the candidate will have experience with trauma informed care practices as well as an understanding of issues low-income households typically face. The ideal candidate will have a BSW with an additional year of related experience; or BS/BA in a related field. (Ex. Social Work, Psychology, etc.). Candidates should also support the mission of the YWCA: elimination of racism and empowerment of women, demonstrate multi-cultural competency and the ability to work with diverse populations, and have good communication and writing skills.
