Single Hand Fab Shop Welders (No Per Diem) Location: Henderson, TX Type: Full time Permanent position, no per diem General Information/Job Summary/Responsibilities Must be able to pass an all GTAW (TIG) test and one of the following: Must be able to pass GMAW - (Mig - Open Root), FCAW - (Flux Core) or Mig/Pulse test. Tests are given on a 2” Monster Coupon in the 6G position Currently 50-hour work weeks Qualifications Four (4) years of experience in Industrial Construction pertaining to job responsibilities listed. Must be successful with weld test procedures. Safety Requirements On a continual basis, it promotes an awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensures compliance with all accompany policies. Ability to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug program. Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education. Attend safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management. Attend various training classes as may be assigned by management. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Ability to take needed safety precautions in performing the work. Knowledge of basic rigging safety practices. Physical Requirements Manual and finger dexterity Eye-hand coordination Depth perception Ability to see things clearly that are beyond arm’s reach (far visual acuity) Ability to see small detail. Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds. Ability to climb 30-foot ladders without resting. Ability to maintain balance on catwalks and narrow workspaces. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to reach above head while sitting or standing. Ability to reach below knees while standing. Ability to stop or kneel. Ability to work 50 or more hours each week. Ability to evaluate work conditions and quality, and to make decisions regarding course of actions (decision making) Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
