Position Overview: The Single Family Fraud Business Lead is responsible for overseeing the identification, assessment, management, and reporting of financial crimes risk. This role supports compliance with corporate requirements, drives the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, and leads reporting initiatives to support governance and decision-making. Our Impact: Strengthen the organization's ability to detect, prevent and mitigate financial crimes risks Enhance compliance with financial crimes risk related policy and standard Build and maintain trusted relationships with risk partners and oversight groups Your Impact: Develop and Monitor Risk Ratings: Design and maintain comprehensive financial crimes risk rating for Seller/Servicers (S/S) and Third-Party Originators (TPOs) to inform governance forums Conduct Risk Analysis and Track Remediation: Perform in-depth risk analyses based on the S/S financial crime risk rating, recommend remediation actions and track remediation status to ensure timely resolution Prepare and Deliver Management Reports: Prepare, deliver, and continuously improve management reports on financial risk mitigation activities to inform senior leadership and support effective decision-making Status Tracking and Escalation: Monitor and track the status of case investigations using established dashboards and reporting tools. Ensure timely updates, proactively escalate risks as needed, and deliver regular status reports to management Support Oversight Activities: Provide Financial Crimes Risk inputs to various S/S oversight activities led by SF Third Party Risk team, including Counterparty Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) review, S/S risk review Develop Procedures and Ensure Compliance: Support the development and maintenance of departmental procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies and standards. Conduct gap assessments and recommend process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 8+ years of experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, or compliance, preferably within financial services
  • Experience in financial crimes risk management is preferred
  • Data-driven approach to risk analysis
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

  • This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $114,000 - $172,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
  • The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
