In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a group that performs manual silk-screening operations If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork matter, we’d love to hear from you! Shift Available: First Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience of silk screening, including set-up, ink mixing, and creating fixtures ideally on sheet metal products
  • Interpret product routings, bill of materials, and drawings

Nice To Haves

  • Material handling and forklift experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create screens with artwork to be able to run production parts.
  • Set up and/or create fixtures to ensure proper artwork placement provided by the blueprints.
  • Mix ink to match customer requested colors.
  • Manage all Department inventory and supplies to support on time delivery of work orders.
  • Manage and maintain screen library.
  • Print/prepare daily hot sheets for required meetings.
  • Directs daily workflow of products through packaging.
  • Acts as a technical resource to silk screen team to support and train as well as address and resolve inquiries and problems and provide feedback to supervisors on recurring/major performance issues.
  • Manually silkscreen parts in accordance with the blueprint to meet customer specifications.
  • Verify that all work instructions are up-to-date and followed and assist in the establishment of new or updating work instructions.
  • Assures that tools and fixtures are calibrated and stored properly.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in silk screen that support Safety Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost.
  • Provide feedback to Paintline Supervisor with scheduling needs and team performance.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and assist in ensuring the department adheres to all safety requirements.
