The Signaling Systems Designer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and understanding fire alarm systems for coordination and design purposes; revise drawings as needed from quality control and/or AHJ/client reviews. Print, Plot and process drawings for internal and external use. Advise Senior Designers of potential issues or scheduling concerns due to changes and revisions. Your Opportunity Design fire alarm systems using AutoCAD within the time constraints established by the task. Responsible for reviewing consulting documents, fire sprinkler drawings, survey documents and applying them to the fire alarm design. Responsible for sending out client deliverables. Responsible for putting drawing submittal packages together for submittal to the AHJ. Making changes to the fire alarm drawings from QC/peer reviews. Other duties as assigned.
