Signal Integrity Engineering Co-Op
About The Position
Help X-ES maintain its core strength of engineering excellence. Gain hands-on experience working with the advanced technologies at the boundary between the chip and the board while making direct contributions to product development. We’re seeking an Engineering Co-op to analyze challenging signal integrity issues using their skills in circuits, electromagnetics, and signal processing. The individual will work within a small team of signal integrity engineers to solve problems with high-speed signals in the design phase using simulation as well as post fabrication in the lab. This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility for a Summer/Fall co-op for May – December 2026. This typically requires students to take a semester off of school to accommodate.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Self-motivated and capable of meeting project deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Nice To Haves
- Understanding transmission line theory
- Experience with analysis tools such as HyperLynx, HSPICE, Sigrity, or HFSS
- Hands-on oscilloscope and VNA experience
- Familiarity with printed circuit board design
- Comfortable with Python programming
