About The Position

Collaborates with customers to understand their signage needs and preferences. Design and create custom signs using a variety of materials and techniques, fabricate signs using tools and equipment in workshop. Install signs at customer locations with attention to detail and precision. Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED from a recognized State or Federal accredited organization with one year experience. Valid drivers license.
• Basic level of knowledge in sign making, carpentry, and general construction skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with others.
• Considerable knowledge of locksmith trades.
• Knowledge of the graph design, signmaking trade and building construction.
• Knowledge of computer software systems, Database, Spreadsheets, and other Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Engraving.
• Using personal computers and tools.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, develops layouts, fabricates, installs, or repairs interior and exterior signage and other identification or directional messaging devices. Assignments are performed in accordance with AU signage standards and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
