SHUTTLE DRIVER (STARLINK) - TEMPORARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Transport people in a shuttle between locations Safely load and unload cargo as needed Responsible for ensuring shuttle contents are secured for safe and undamaged delivery to destination Avoiding high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible Monitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report all problems to manager immediately Responsible for the cleanliness of vehicle and refueling/recharging when low In case of emergency contact immediate supervisor and provide detailed information to remedy issue POSITION DETAILS: This is a temporary position with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate. LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months (permanent hire conversion based on performance and business need) LOCATION: Redmond/Woodinville, WA SHIFT: 1st shift (9:00am-7:00pm)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of professional experience driving people in a commercial setting OR 6+ months of contracting driving experience at SpaceX
  • Class B CDL passenger endorsement
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
  • Ability to work all required hours, weekends and off-shifts with minimal notice. Estimated shift time: 9:00AM – 7:00PM
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
