Requirements

  • Must possess a valid U.S. Class B or C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, assist with luggage/sports equipment, and meet the physical demands of the role (sitting, driving, reaching, etc.).
  • Must have strong verbal communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions typical of a mountain environment.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and defensive driving principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Six months to one year of related experience in professional driving, customer service, hospitality, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the Town of Breckenridge, its geography, and local attractions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for performing vehicle fluid checks and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Prior experience in a role requiring high-touch guest service, problem-solving, and anticipating customer needs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • A self-starter who takes pride in vehicle upkeep and goes above and beyond without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate resort shuttles to transport guests and owners around Breckenridge, following all traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with luggage, sports equipment, and boarding/exiting vehicles.
  • Act as a resort ambassador by answering questions, providing recommendations, and offering current information on local activities, events, and attractions.
  • Maintain proactive communication with the Front Desk to coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and shuttle needs.
  • Perform daily vehicle cleaning (interior and exterior), refueling, and basic fluid checks.
  • Assist with basic preventative maintenance and accurately update vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Resolve guest situations proactively and follow up to ensure satisfaction whenever possible.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and report any unsafe vehicle conditions or concerns.
  • Maintain a valid U.S. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or C with passenger endorsement.
  • Ensure personal appearance always meets uniform and grooming standards.
  • Foster positive working relationships and strong cross-departmental communication.
  • Attend required training sessions, department meetings, and participate in company sustainability initiatives.
  • Respond promptly to all email and voicemail correspondence.
  • Assist other Operations departments when shuttle demand is low and perform other duties as assigned.
