Shuttle Driver
About The Position

We are on the lookout for a Shuttle Drive to join our team in Pullman, WA! This roles at Yugo is a key part of our community-based teams because they provide a safe and secure way for our students to get from point A to point B. Naturally, our students utilize this amenity frequently, so you’ll need to be on the ball and make sure you are sticking to your schedule, providing safe transportation, and of course an excellent student experience!
Requirements
- Be at least 25 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have a clean driving record and can meet federal & state driving standards.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations as well as Yugo policies & procedures.
- Able to exercise good judgement and operate under time pressure.
- Meet OMV vision requirements.
- Able to speak and read English to converse with residents and staff.
- Switched on and approachable and a of course a night owl.
- Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training
Nice To Haves
- We’d love if you have some experience ideally with driving or vehicle maintenance and have a proactive approach to solving problems; relevant experience would give you an edge but it’s certainly not essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate Shuttle in a safe and responsible manner on a scheduled route to all designated destinations.
- Always abide by all traffic laws and regulations and company policy.
- Perform daily inspection of the shuttle to insure cleanliness and good working order.
- Always deliver superior service to current and prospective residents.
- Assist with routine cleaning and detailing of shuttle.
- Maintain mileage and maintenance records along with fuel and fluid levels.
- Assist passengers on and off the vehicle, as necessary, ensuring safe transport.
- Enforce federal, state, and company guidelines for shuttle passengers.
- This list is by no means extensive but in short, your main responsibility is to take pride in the shuttle experience – ensuring the standard is great for our residents.
