About The Position

Shuttle truck driver will be responsible for shuttling product and raw materials between the manufacturing plant and our off site warehouses. This position will also back fill as a fork lift driver when business demands.

Requirements

• The applicant must possess a CDL License.
• The applicant must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and have the ability to understand the policies and regulations of Polyglass USA, the Department of Transportation, and the various state and federal agencies which regulate the transportation industry.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Be a self-starter and work independently.
• Uses logic and reason in dealing with problems.

Nice To Haves

• AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Switch the trailers between various dock stations daily (555 Oak Ridge Road and 585 Oak Ridge Road).
• Climb in & out of truck in order to unhook/hook the trailers up to the unit.
• Tester must check the wheels of each trailer placed in a dock.
• Drive truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport & deliver cargo, materials, or damaged vehicle.
• Safe operation of company equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Operate forklift as needed.
