About The Position

Responsible for the delivery of exceptional coordination, support, assistance, and administration required to successfully execute key initiatives and projects for the Talent Acquisition department.

  • Excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of and experience with recruiting practices preferred
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for multiple media channels and formats.
  • Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s Degree program
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks.
  • Able to follow directions and work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Must pay attention to details and have the ability to follow up and follow through.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a culturally and educationally diverse environment.
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job

Responsibilities

  • Support all activities associated with Talent Acquisition department including coordinating recruitment events, meetings, scheduling virtual and on-site interviews, assisting new hires, etc.
  • Assist with coordination of New Caregiver Orientation, twice monthly.
  • Gain understanding of TA social media pages and assist with creating content and managing posts/advertisements of Sparrow Careers and other culture related items. All to work towards sharing the benefits of working at Sparrow with our community.
  • Assist with cleanup of PeopleFluent ATS tracking software, including ensuring that records are all in compliance.
  • Assist with temporary contractors, including compliance ane invoicing.
  • Cover for HR Assistant at the HR front desk, when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
