About The Position

Overview Operates shredder machinery that heats and chops materials into small pieces for various uses. Responsibilities Communicate with supervisor for daily operation schedule. Perform preparations for start-up and shout-down in accordance with established procedures. Opens hatch of machine to accommodate materials dumped into machine. Closes and secures hatch and starts machine. Turns valves and observes thermometers to maintain temperature of product at plant standard, observe computer, push control buttons, and use joy sticks to operate. Stops machine after prescribed time for unloading. Work area housekeeping.

• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently work with heights.
• Possess a clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Team player dedicated to the organization.
