About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Showroom & Samples Technician to oversee and participate in daily showroom operations, manage sample processing, and provide support during customer visits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Associate’s degree.
  • 2–5 years of experience in showroom management, retail operations, project management, and inventory coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization, time management and customer service skills
  • Up to ~5 weeks / year travel

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day showroom logistics, ensure it is equipped with the right equipment, consistently clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Maintain equipment and displays to support day-to-day showroom activities.
  • Coordinate showroom appointments, agendas, and preparation in cooperation with Sales, Management, Front Desk and Executive Administrative Assistant.
  • Maintain accurate and relevant inventory of Timesavers showroom abrasives, sample coupons, and other showroom consumables.
  • Provide feedback on showroom and samples budget.
  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and product launches.
  • Manage and Track in-bound sample shipments and out-bound sample returns in cooperation with shipping & receiving.
  • Working with Regional Sales Managers (RSM’s), dealers, and customers to collect, track, and process technical information/application requirements, use it to determine and propose the appropriate Timesavers solution and machine set-up for running samples.
  • Performance machine set-up to prepare for and then run samples per plan.
  • Capture and document test definition and test results including pictures, machine set-up, and application information for the Sample Testing into a Sample Test Report, log and place items into our data storage repository.
  • Provide pertinent technical feedback to RSM’s, dealers, and customers regarding sample processing results.
  • Coordinate customer machine Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) visits
  • Setting calendar placeholders, preparing agenda and details in cooperation with Sales, Dealer Partner, Customer, Management, Front Desk, and Executive Administrative Assistant.
  • Coordinate with our manufacturing team or directly make sure the client system is prepared/ready for the visit objectives.
  • Support FAT testing within the Timesavers facility, host clients as required for the duration of their visit.
  • Support planning, machine preparation, onsite set-up and teardown at our annual industry venues in cooperation with key partners.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
