The Showroom Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional in-store customer experience while driving sales and supporting daily showroom operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through product selections, preparing quotes, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Comfortable engaging customers and building relationships in a retail showroom environment
  • Proficient computer skills. Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Professional, positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to learn detailed product knowledge, pricing, and services
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in an active retail showroom environment

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming showroom environment
  • Educate customers on products and services, including lantern posts, mailbox posts, pergolas, fencing and related offerings
  • Prepare and present accurate quotes; close sales and upsell when appropriate
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate communication between customers and field Sales Consultants
  • Pull Dig Safe tickets and ensure proper documentation prior to installation
  • Process sales orders accurately and follow established procedures to ensure seamless communication with installation and delivery teams
  • Conduct order follow-up, including thank-you communications and customer updates
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation at all times
  • Safeguard showroom access, including holding and managing showroom keys
