About The Position

This role is located in-person at our Laguna showroom (M-F 9am – 5pm). The main objective of the Showroom Operations and Marketing Specialist is to ensure the spaces in which we present Schumacher, whether it be in the showroom, on the road, through digital channels or events, embody a true representation of our brand and drive high client engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a retail or showroom environment or Design-related degree.
  • The ability to multitask and be proactive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Able to do some lifting (Up To 50 Pounds Max).
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing product collection display.
  • Maintain design standards throughout showroom including aesthetic and product presentation in order to attract customer interest.
  • Maintain all product signage including launch, new product, and existing displays.
  • Ensure Furniture and Accessories are all tagged and in proper floorplan locations.
  • Fulfill strategic visual merchandising to ensure Showroom products are displayed to drive client engagement.
  • Ensure the Hospitality portion of showroom is fully stocked and organized.
  • Order supplies and signage needed for the Showroom and Backroom.
  • Responsible for identifying and procuring any/all additional décor in the Showroom.
  • Contribute to management of Regional Social Media Account with posts related to showroom product display.
  • Help coordinate in-showroom events.
  • Plan and design product “inspiration packages”, create “ring sets”, and plan/fulfill additional sample product curation initiatives.
  • Pull Sample Product for in-Showroom clients.
  • Pull and Ship Client Sample Product from Emailed Client Requests or called-in sample product orders.
  • Process sample product through appropriate inventory management system.
  • Ensure that sample product is organized and up to date.
  • Fill and Curate sample product boxes for clients.
  • Share product and design knowledge with clients to drive product interest and engagement.
