About The Position

As a HOLLY HUNT General Manager, you are entrusted with full responsibility for the overall performance of the showroom, including profit and loss. This leadership role requires a strong commitment to upholding the brand’s standards of quality, craftsmanship, and service excellence. You will cultivate a high-performing sales culture, elevate the client experience, and ensure the showroom reflects the sophistication and design leadership synonymous with HOLLY HUNT. Your primary mandate is to drive sales growth, develop a best in class team, and champion the HOLLY HUNT brand within the local design community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience, including responsibility for sales teams in a luxury, design, or high end retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of high-end luxury furnishings, interior design clients, and the elevated buying experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set performance expectations, and drive results.
  • Skilled in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage confidently at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, follow through on commitments, and uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing integrated sales team to grow business within the local market.
  • Manage for results by coaching proactive, relationship driven sales techniques and best practices.
  • Actively sell to an assigned portfolio of key clients, cultivating strong, long-term relationships and driving sustained revenue growth.
  • Maintain an exceptional client experience by fostering a culture of unmatched service and hospitality.
  • Resolve escalated client matters with professionalism and a solutions oriented approach.
  • Oversee accurate and timely quote and order management across sales and support functions.
  • Leverage reporting tools to analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and guide strategic decision making.
  • Implement process enhancements that strengthen operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Manage showroom facilities, coordinating with external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Partner with the accounting team on budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Oversee inventory management in collaboration with the Inventory Coordinator, ensuring accuracy and streamlined processes.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring to build a cohesive, high caliber team aligned with HOLLY HUNT’s values and service standards.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture grounded in accountability, professionalism, and design passion.
  • Serve as a visible brand ambassador on the sales floor, in the office, and at industry events.
  • Build strong connections with the local design community to elevate showroom visibility and deepen market relationships.
  • Develop productive partnerships with showroom rep vendors—understanding their clientele, supporting their business goals, and ensuring execution of growth strategies.
  • Preserve the signature HOLLY HUNT visual standard by overseeing showroom merchandising and collaborating with the Creative team.
  • Partner with the marketing team on client focused outreach, showroom events, and brand initiatives.
