About The Position

7th Avenue is seeking a Showroom Coordinator to help grow the Showrooms Department. This role requires a professional who is extremely organized, driven, and hard working. The motto of the Showrooms Department is “Get It Done” and the Showroom Coordinator is expected to embody this motto. About 7th Avenue: We are a digitally-native furniture brand offering products that marry luxury design with functional day-to-day features. Our main product is a modular sofa collection we call “The World’s Greatest Modular Sofa” that includes features such as endless modularity, water-repellent and stain-resistant fabrics, removable and machine-washable covers, memory foam cushions, and many more. All products are sustainably-built, free from harmful chemicals, and designed to last 10 years or more. About Our Showrooms: Our showrooms are the face of our company. For many of our customers, their experience in our showroom will determine if they complete their purchase. Each showroom must reflect our brand and our products with a level of finish that gives the customer the impression we have thought of every detail. About the role: You will report directly to Lavinia Gabriele, Project Manager. You will support the build-out and ongoing management of showrooms across the country. This position supports the Project Manager in all aspects. The position is based in NYC, however you will be expected to be on-call for PST and EST. You will likely be asked to travel domestically, especially as your responsibility at 7th Avenue grows. For an organized operator, this is a great opportunity to join a new and quickly growing team.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with project management, operations, or executive assistant work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and react promptly
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on constantly communicating with the Project Manager
  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, efficient, organized, and fast
  • Strategic mindset with real-life problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in an efficient and organized manner

Responsibilities

  • Lead 10+ weekly showroom check-ins, which ensure showrooms are well maintained and held to the highest standard. Owns all action-items that derive from these meetings, such as procurement and liaison with vendors.
  • Promptly solving any showroom issues between showroom check-ins to ensure Sales Consultants are able to focus on selling
  • Support buildout projects by purchasing necessary materials, reviewing general contractor reimbursements, and inspect vendor receipts
  • Collect and maintain showroom related data and SOPs, ensuring Showroom Department related data is organized and up-to-date
  • Assist Project Manager in any ad-hoc projects
