Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • One or more years of sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Good computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel; Syspro (ERP) experience preferred.
  • Good time management and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and good work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a strong team environment with a professional and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains showroom standards.
  • Opens and closes the showroom.
  • Assists and answers questions of designers.
  • Conducts outreach to new and existing designers.
  • Maintains constant communication with the showroom manager.
  • Sells the unique finds and antiques in the showroom and arranges for customer pickup of product.
  • Travels to other markets throughout the year to help with trade shows by providing client assistance in product purchases, hospitality needs and product knowledge inquiries.
