Showroom A&D Coordinator ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Logs all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in CRM. Effectively communicates with customers and internal team members to follow lead and ensure tracking/follow up and sales closure. • Plans and hosts events to draw and engage new customers into the Showroom. Promotes showroom through all aspects of marketing/media and events concentrating on a diverse customer base to optimize exposure. • Provides product expertise, facilitate material selection, and project development/support ensuring the completion of selection/sales for all customers. • Identify new business and/or develop existing business potential while demonstrating the value of Wilsonart products to A&D customers with professional communication thru consistent electronic contact with these constituencies. • Manage Medium to Small Architect/Design accounts while creating demand for all Wilsonart products and increasing our specification share/position on commercial construction opportunities across N. America. • Serves as a resource for customers on validity and availability of orders, special requests, etc. Coordinates with other departments on customer requirements to insure timeliness and customer satisfaction. • Performs other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in digital communication and tools
  • Ability to communicate well in digital/virtual environment as well as oral and written formats with all levels of our organization and our customers
  • Knowledge of the complete product line, its applications and performance
  • Experience with marketing, sales and specification principles
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and the progression of project stages
  • Ability to make professional presentations
  • Ability to sell products and concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards
  • Serves as a resource for customers on validity and availability of orders, special requests, etc. Coordinates with other departments on customer requirements to insure timeliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Design/Business Administration or a closely related field. One additional year of experience may substitute for one year of required education with a maximum substitution of four years.
  • 1-3 years selling experience, preferably in the commercial and residential design communities.
  • Sitting in the same location of standing/walking; required to stoop, climb or lift light material (10-20lbs) or equipment.
