About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Food Service Manager, assists in preparation and presentation of grill items for employees, visitors and volunteers in the main Dining Room. Assists in the overall sanitation of equipment. Ensures that food is attractively served and properly handled within Weymouth Health Board and JCAHO guidelines. Works well with their peers and manages stressful situations well. Adjust to busy situations well to ensure job gets completed properly and thoroughly .Contributes to maintaining a safe, clean healthy work environment. Understands the daily needs of the department and works independently when needed, to complete the task. Represents the Hospital appropriately to all audiences in a way that reflects well on the Hospital’s reputation and image.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle many orders simultaneously.
  • Maintains composure under stressful situations.
  • 5:30a-2p 3p-8p or 11:15a-7:45p as needed.
  • Weekends and holidays required including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
