We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Shoreside IT Systems Analyst to make a significant impact on our shoreside operations. As a key team member, you will be at the forefront of ensuring smooth sailing and operations for our shoreside crew by providing IT support. This role is critical in providing top-notch IT support, immersing in our office technology and infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our shoreside teams, ensuring our IT systems are optimized and support exceeds expectations. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and a dedication to promoting a continuous improvement and learning culture within our vibrant organization. This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the field or industry
• 3-4 years of related work experience
• Background in building end-user devices from the ground up in an enterprise environment
• Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Apple OS, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and related enterprise applications
• High attention to detail pertaining to asset management and device management
• Rock solid communication, coordination, administrating, and organizational skills
• Being both an independent self-starter and ability to work as a great team player
• Ability to translate functional capabilities into technical deliverables

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to our shore-based crew, encompassing device support, software assistance, and respective installations for our office PC/LAN equipment and VV Crew.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and a valuable resource for the IT team, offering guidance and support in resolving complex technical issues.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and provide tailored IT solutions to meet their needs, including training.
• Support the lab environment to match the production environment accurately, enabling effective testing and troubleshooting of end-user devices and shipboard systems.
• Demonstrate exceptional triaging and problem-analysis skills to identify and address the root cause of incidents as they arise.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, proposing innovative solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
