About The Position

Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment. Essential Functions Safety Responsibilities • Prioritize safety as the utmost importance, even before production, and promote a team culture that makes safety the primary focus for all employees at all times. • Adhere to safety procedures in accordance with OSHA safety policies and regulations. Strategic Responsibilities: • Uses collaborative process mapping software to help visually map process workflows, project structures, and strategic initiatives. • Fully understands and shares a passion for the Company’s core values, mission, and objectives. • Builds and maintains strong relationships as trusted advisors to our clients. Other Responsibilities • Receives tools and materials. • Stacks merchandise on racks. • Stocks warehouse with tools. • Ensures machinery is serviced and functional. • Checks in merchandise and affixes labels. • Matches invoice to purchase orders and turns in paperwork to accounting for processing. • Fulfills SPAN field orders. • Moves materials off racks and packages for shipment. • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. • Follows all safety codes. • Places merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution. • Performs facilities maintenance. • Sorts material according to size, type, style, color, or product code. • Carries out tasks assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager. • Identifies damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse. • Compiles inventory balances and price lists. • Maintains records of all activities and processes pertaining to the SPAN Shop. • Provides our clients and your co-workers with the highest level of service and quality. • Completes any special projects as directed by management. • Runs company errands.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across teams and report findings clearly.
  • Attention to detail in administrative tasks and data entry.
  • Interest in technology, data analysis, and process improvement, with a willingness to learn Smartsheet, Power BI, and other operational platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to compile reports, synthesize information, and create structured presentations.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot administrative and operational issues.
  • Ability to work independently while taking initiative on assigned tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Basic Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams), data entry, and phone skills preferred.
  • Basic knowledge or interest in business operations, data analysis, or process improvement.
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license.
  • Must be able to be insured on the company’s insurance policy as a driver for the company.
  • Must be able to receive instruction and supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with warehouse power tools, forklift, autobody work, and warehouse order picking is preferred.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is preferred.
