Responsibilities and Expectations: As a Shop Clerk for IPS, you will apply innovative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, to compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment/tools, merchandise, or supplies stocked in the establishment by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

Receive the repair jobs in the shop.
Inspect equipment for damage and check all equipment documentation.
Ensure that all the job-related information taken by the truck drivers is properly documented.
Complete and submit proper repair documentation to the Customer Service Department.
Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
Prepare repaired equipment for delivery.
Schedule pick-up and delivery of customer equipment for repair.
Schedule maintenance of company trucks.
Hire outside trucking and crane services when required.
Records information such as name, address, equipment to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
Adhere to all company policies.
Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye, ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.).
Keep work area clean and organized.
Report all injuries, near misses and accidents immediately to a supervisor.
All other duties as assigned.
