About The Position

Americhem International, Pennsylvania’s leading janitorial and office supplies distributor, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Inside Shop Service Support / Service Coordinator to join our team. This position supports the internal service department by coordinating service requests, work orders, maintenance schedules, and billing while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized and thrives in a service operations, administrative support, or dispatch coordination environment . This individual will help ensure smooth communication between customers, technicians, and operations while helping Americhem remain our customers’ “trusted partner in clean.”

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, service coordination, dispatch, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) or similar business software
  • Ability to manage multiple work orders, service requests, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with service ticketing systems, work order management, or maintenance tracking systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage service documentation including work orders, service requests, quotes, customer orders, and invoicing
  • Coordinate and maintain the Planned Maintenance (PM) schedule and preventative maintenance tracking list
  • Review and complete assigned customer service tickets, maintenance requests, PMs, and work orders
  • Invoice completed service work and preventative maintenance services
  • Follow up with customers regarding service updates, repair status, and completed work
  • Maintain and update the shared repair tracking report and service logs
  • Provide administrative support for the service department , including documentation and reporting
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-in requests
  • Work closely with the Service Operations Manager and Service Support team to ensure efficient service workflow and timely resolution of requests
