Shop Managers assist in F&B’s success in both the office and the field. Shop Managers will be responsible for supervising and scheduling all yard activities, ordering materials, issuing purchase order numbers, inventory, reconciling invoices, and ensuring quality and safety requirements are being met. The descriptions below are representative of, but are not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position. Five Key Roles of the Shop Manager: Solicit multiple quotations for material inventory & purchase based on approval from Regional Director; process PO’s through Procore and approve invoices in Foundation. Effectively communicate daily activities to supporting staff and uphold the highest level of accountability. Record daily timesheets based upon hours worked for self and supporting staff. Work collaboratively with Project Management and Field Operations regarding yard support functions required for current, and upcoming project needs and schedules. Assess the skill set of all yard team members and provide training and coaching as needed, complete performance reviews for yard team members in accordance with HR procedures. Effectively coordinate yard support activities including but not limited to inventory management, support staff, equipment maintenance, small tool management, and warehousing.
