About The Position
The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a part-time Shop Helper. This position is a non-benefited position, working maximum of 28 hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning shop and car wash area
- Conducting minor repairs
- Picking up and delivering parts to mechanics
- Moving vehicles and equipment in and out of shop
- Dropping off or picking up vehicles from outside vendors
- Assist in the welding shop and assist mechanics when necessary
- Replenish washer fluid and minor custodial responsibilities
