About The Position

Elite Restoration is currently looking for a Restoration Shop Foreman for our Twin Falls area location. The Primary Responsibilities of this Role are: Work hands-on alongside technicians performing repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on heavy equipment, construction equipment, and company vehicles Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities involving heavy equipment and construction machinery Assign and prioritize work orders while actively assisting with job completion Lead, train, and mentor mechanics and technicians through on-the-job guidance Diagnose and perform complex repairs on heavy and construction equipment Inspect completed repairs and maintenance before equipment is released Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance Manage and perform preventive maintenance schedules for fleet and construction equipment Monitor inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; order as needed Coordinate with field supervisors and management regarding equipment Maintain accurate records for work orders, inspections, and maintenance logs Enforce proper use and care of tools, equipment, and shop facilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Mechanic, or Senior Technician in heavy or construction equipment
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy machinery
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and work orders
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and drivetrain systems
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more with assistance
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with noise, dust, grease, and heavy machinery

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications related to diesel or heavy equipment repair
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Experience managing fleet or construction equipment maintenance programs
