We are currently seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Shop Foreman to join our team. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment service, with proven skills in mentoring mechanics and resolving complex repair issues
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills for client interactions.
  • Must be able to still work on equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including fuel, hydraulics, electrical, engines, and transmissions
  • Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software and tools
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Eagerness to adopt new techniques and technologies in equipment maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license, high school diploma (or equivalent), and ability to pass background, drug, and MVR checks
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to travel as needed for training; less than 10%

Nice To Haves

  • experience working with Komatsu is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize, schedule, and assign jobs to shop technicians to ensure efficient operations
  • Manage and mentor the service team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates on repair & warranty status
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling opportunities for additional services and repairs
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting as needed
  • Estimate repair costs and timelines with accuracy
