Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and 2 years in customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education in automotive repair or management preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in software and tools such as Bsite, CDK, Topicx, myKaarma, Rapid Recon, and Multipoint systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Service Lane Flow:
  • Ensure walk-in and tow-in customers are promptly written up and logged on the walk-in list.
  • Coordinate hikes, Quality Control (QC) processes, parking congestion, and loaner fleet operations.
  • Driving Operational Excellence:
  • Dispatch work fairly to technicians based on shop needs and client demand.
  • Monitor shop flow to maximize efficiency, reduce guarantee hours, and maintain high service standards.
  • Conduct active receptions with service advisors and customers to assess service needs.
  • Maintaining Quality Assurance:
  • Perform daily quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets dealership standards.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Department to streamline deliveries and maintain parts availability.
  • Fostering Team Collaboration:
  • Host weekly meetings with the General Manager, Service Manager, and technical team to discuss performance and process improvements.
  • Support technician training and development to ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Satisfaction:
  • Focus on maintaining Service 6 scores of at or above department expectations.
