Shop Foreman
About The Position
PAM Transport is seeking a highly skilled Shop Foreman with a passion for developing new talent in a fleet maintenance environment. We are looking for a strong but fair and inclusive individual to manage all aspects of shop operations including hiring, training and supervising qualified employees while making reactive maintenance a thing of the past. As a member of the PAM Transport family, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on equipment uptime and shop efficiency through the development and execution of long and short term goals, action plans and effective leadership.
Responsibilities
- PM and repair of heavy duty tractors and trailers
- Maintain a focus on cost control and time management by monitoring and analyzing all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies
- Promote a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards as well as with all applicable laws/regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of quality control for all repairs
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all shop staff
- Track, maintain and review Open Repair Orders and Report as directed
