Requirements
- 4 – 7 years experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs.
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
- Ability to maintain labor performance and billable hours according to Service Leaders.
- Sound knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment as well as technology trends/advancements is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assembling and servicing all types of equipment.
- Operating and maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process.
- Participating in Service Education Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Participating in the on-call program
- Accounting for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
- Maintaining a clean truck.
- Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Maintaining current product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to customer accounts.
- Other duties as assigned.
