About The Position

Shipside Operations Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) are looking for Shipside Operations Specialists to support the ESRC 7.36 Wire Shop LSCC SOS team onsite in Everett, Washington. As a Shipside Operations Specialist, you will collaborate cross-functionally to identify, investigate, and develop countermeasures to drive improvement projects in production. Position Responsibilities: Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria Provides limited feedback on assessment results Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans Works under general supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment 1+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience working in operations analysis or operations research 3+ years of experience in a role that required excellent communication, collaboration, networking, and interpersonal skills 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong problem solving and analytical skills Typical Education / Experience Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.). Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.). Shift: This role is primarily 1st and/or 2nd shift ; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives. Union: This is a union represented position.
