Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope/Key responsibilities: Supervising and managing shipping and receiving department with coordinating and delegating to ensure product is dispatched accurately, efficiently, and on time. Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring all operational functions meet or exceed the company goals and objectives.

  • Must be able to multi-task and place priorities in an orderly manner
  • Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Must have good judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Ability to operate independently and in full compliance with applicable shipping, receiving and stockroom standard operating procedures with minimal management intervention
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize packaging jobs and workload
  • Ability to effectively manage others in a fast paced and highly visible area
  • Ability to perform other duties as directed
  • Understand technology associated with manufacturing high technology circuit boards
  • A minimum of high school diploma, a higher degree would be an advantage
  • Three years of supervisory or related experience in printed circuit board industry
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations in the shipping department
  • Coordinate and work closely with employees, carriers, freight forwarders
  • Utilize good judgment for cost effective transportation coat for product
  • Establish and monitor work week schedules including weekend over time while monitoring and enforcing attendance policies
  • Train, develop, motivate staff to fullest potential to achieve goals and continuous improvement with daily coaching and interaction with employees
  • Maintain tour ready work areas
  • Monitor employees are following proper product, quality and safety work practices associated with procedures
  • Follow and complete necessary revisions of all written procedures
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and government regulations, hazardous material handling and transportation
  • Optimize and maintain department cleaned and organized
