Shipping Supervisor 1st Shift

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience (4+years) in warehouse operations, with at least 0-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance reviews.
• Operational Oversight: Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storing, order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and manage stock replenishment to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or team performance in a timely manner.
