About The Position

GENERAL SUMMARY Performs the receipt of incoming goods and shipments of finished goods in compliance with established procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Check in drivers. Check for purchase orders. Check Bill of Lading. Verify seals. Tag product. Schedule appointments. Maintain shipping and receiving documentation. Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and operate tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with a hoist, pallet-jack or cart. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. LANGUAGE SKILLS Read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities a plus. Able to communicate and take direction from direct supervisor and/or the warehouse supervisor. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Two or more years of related work experience in logistics/distribution. Food manufacturing/distribution experience is ideal. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to calculate numbers and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to use WMS, SAP system and basic Windows operation of Word and Excel and Outlook email system. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, and vary in temperature from bakery environment, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility. The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $40,526 - $60,788/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.

Requirements
