We are currently seeking a Laboratory Sample Shipping Coordinator to ensure biological samples are processed, stored, and shipped according to protocol requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Daytona Beach, FL. The role requires participation in a rotating shift schedule, which includes weekends and holidays as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, label, store, pack, and dispatch samples to external laboratories in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Apply correct shipping procedures according to international regulations for biohazardous and dangerous goods.
- Complete all related documentation.
- Tracks and documents PK sample shipments.
- Formulate specimen codes from protocol and print labels.
- Monitor temperature and organize refrigerator and freezer space.
- Arrange for clinical samples to be archived as required.
- Uses universal precautions when handling specimens.
- All other duties as needed or assigned.
