Shipping/Receiving Truck Driver
About The Position
Seeking out CDL Class A Truck Driver to support hauling product safely from our local warehouse to our production facility. This is a Midnight shift position-based position to cover company specialty load needs. This role is full time. Responsibilities Must demonstrate the ability to maneuver tractor/trailer in and out of docks & drop lots safe & accurately. Verifiable previous experience in trailer and flatbed operationsMust understand procedures and comply with all policies & procedures at Company sites. Must be able to perform pre-& post inspection and properly fill out provided documentation.Must deliver in timely fashion as judged by dispatcher, supervisor. Must be able to understand and operate computer system. Must be able to work the hours necessary in order to achieve the goals of the company. Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions Demonstrates attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; meets productivity standards. Perform all other responsibilities as assigned as necessary for company to support company operations including as temporary fill in for other driving positions. Qualifications Verifiable previous experience in trailer and flatbed operationsMust have a current commercial driver’s license with clean driving record Must have a current DOT medical card. Must be willing, on occasion, to deliver dedicated daily runs due to last minute call-ins, vacations, etc.
