As a Shipping & Receiving Department, you'll be part of our Elyria team located in Elyria, OH.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience operating forklift
- Basic computer skills, specifically with performing inventory transactions
- Forklift certified or ability to successfully complete B&D approved forklift certification program
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, stand and walk for majority of an 8 hour day
- Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process all shipments via any type carrier, including all necessary paperwork.
- Receives and tallies all incoming shipments
- Prepares all receiving reports and distributes copies of the receiving report to interested parties.
- Stores material in proper location after checking against packing slip, or order requisition.
- Maintains storage of all material in warehouse.
- Operate various trucks to pick up and deliver merchandise at specified locations.
- Knowledge and use of UPS computer and Receiving computer.
