As a Shipping & Receiving Department, you'll be part of our Elyria team located in Elyria, OH.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience operating forklift
  • Basic computer skills, specifically with performing inventory transactions
  • Forklift certified or ability to successfully complete B&D approved forklift certification program
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, stand and walk for majority of an 8 hour day
  • Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process all shipments via any type carrier, including all necessary paperwork.
  • Receives and tallies all incoming shipments
  • Prepares all receiving reports and distributes copies of the receiving report to interested parties.
  • Stores material in proper location after checking against packing slip, or order requisition.
  • Maintains storage of all material in warehouse.
  • Operate various trucks to pick up and deliver merchandise at specified locations.
  • Knowledge and use of UPS computer and Receiving computer.
