Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 2nd Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team in Salt Lake City! The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the shipping and receiving office within our warehouse operation. This role plays an active part in coordinating driver activity, preparing and dispatching loads, and reviewing and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate professionally with both internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Utilize WMS to audit parts for delivery routes
- Identify, investigate, and correct route discrepancies
- Receive and dispatch drivers in a timely manner.
- Prepare, manifest, and dispatch outbound loads correctly.
- Coordinate driver activity with the dock to ensure timely receiving of inbound loads.
- Maintain organized filing system (electronic and paper).
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Support general office and warehouse tasks as needed.
