Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing. Job Summary The Shipping & Receiving Specialist (Level 3) is an experienced logistics team member responsible for coordinating, executing, and documenting all outbound material movement for the manufacturing facility. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely shipments, and compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations. Level 3 specialists are subject-matter experts who troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor) and barcode scanners.
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Operational Accuracy: Consistently meets quality and documentation standards.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in material handling equipment and ERP transactions.
  • Reliability: Strong time management and dependability.
  • Safety Mindset: Actively contributes to a safe working environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with international shipments (commercial invoices, export documentation, customs requirements).
  • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, package, and stage outbound shipments to meet customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, labels) in ERP or shipping systems.
  • Load trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
  • Verify accuracy of orders, quantities, and lot/serial information prior to shipping.
  • Coordinate daily pick-ups with carriers and communicate delays or issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation in compliance with company policies and ISO/quality standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling (if applicable).
