What it's like to be a Packer/Shipper at Packer/Shipper As a new Full-Time Packer/Shipper at Legacy Crafted, your daily responsibilities will include accurately preparing products for shipment by packing items securely and efficiently. You will be expected to follow established safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for labeling and ensuring that orders match packing slips. Daily tasks may also involve operating packing equipment and maintaining an organized workspace. Your schedule will typically run Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime based on production needs. Expect to be a part of a fast-paced atmosphere where collaboration with team members is key to meeting deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction. To be successful as a Full-Time Packer/Shipper at Legacy Crafted, candidates should possess a combination of technical skills and physical abilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with basic cabinetry knowledge. Familiarity with reading and understanding paperwork is essential for ensuring accuracy in shipping. Being forklift certified is a must, as you'll be loading wrapped products onto trucks. Daily duties include wrapping cabinets, inspecting them for damage or defects prior to packaging, and placing completed orders in the correct aisle. Candidates must be able to follow instructions meticulously and perform other assigned duties as needed. Physically, you should be able to stand or walk for extended periods and handle packaging tools such as tape dispensers, stretch wrap, and box cutters. The role requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and reaching regularly while packaging, as well as working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
