We currently have openings for Shipping & Receiving Material Handlers in our Troy, Ohio location. The starting pay for a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler is $18.00 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $25.61 after 24 months. Shift Schedule: 2nd shift - Monday through Friday - 3p.m. to 11p.m. 3rd shift hours Monday – Friday 11pm-7am. Why Choose a Career With Us? Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to lift 70 - 100 lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations.
  • Forklift operation certification.
  • Proficient in using RF scanners.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming shipments off trucks.
  • Compare incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other records to verify accuracy of order.
  • Unpack and examine incoming product for damage; move materials to correct storage area or department.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning materials moved in and out of warehouse, and completing sub inventory transfers.
  • Convey incoming materials from receiving platform to storage or work areas by using forklift, tow motor, hand trucks or other devices.
  • Perform inventory as required; inform supervisor of any shortages.
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform other job-related duties and activities as needed.
