Shipping & Receiving Associate Level 1 Job Description Reports to: Distribution Center Supervisor Purpose of Position: Responsible for processing material movements within the Distribution Center to support the day to day operations of receiving raw materials and processing outbound shipments to meet customer demand.

Requirements

High school graduate.
Proficient in the use of a computer.
Must be detailed orientated and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in warehousing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for keeping safety as the #1 priority in all functions within the Distribution Center, with an emphasis on housekeeping.
Must comply with and uphold all company rules and policies.
Forklift operation.
Proficient with system transactions in the warehouse management system (SAP).
Load and unload trucks.
Build shipping boxes and skids when applicable.
Operate hand tools required to build shipping boxes and skid.
Safely and accurately put items into and take items out of the racking system.
Perform cycle counts on a periodic basis.
Must be able to communicate and work in a Team environment.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
