About The Position
Power Temp Systems, Inc is seeking a dependable, hands-on Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring industrial products move accurately, efficiently, and safely to our customers. This position is ideal for candidates with direct warehouse shipping & receiving experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with industrial products. Power Temp Systems, Inc is a Houston-based provider of temporary power and industrial equipment solutions supporting commercial, industrial, and energy-sector customers. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related shipping & receiving experience in a warehouse or industrial environment
- Experience shipping industrial, mechanical, or MRO products
- Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems
- Knowledge of proper packing, staging, and freight documentation
- Forklift certification required
- Ability to pull and back a trailer
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience handling industrial parts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Clear driving record required

Responsibilities
- Coordinate hands-on inbound and outbound shipments
- Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and work orders
- Receive, verify, stage, and palletize industrial materials and parts
- Perform light quality checks and report discrepancies or damaged materials
- Coordinate carrier pickups (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight carriers)
- Maintain organized inventory and clean warehouse areas
- Assist with basic mechanical or parts handling as a backup when needed
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
