The Shipping & Receiving Clerk position administers required paperwork for truck drivers, including but not limited to creating and printing bill of ladings, securing trucker signature, scanning into document management system, if applicable. The Clerk creates receivers for incoming material and enters into appropriate computer system, as well as prepares material identification tags as needed and physically hangs tags on material, making sure tag matches material. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk may identify inventory shortages and pull work orders to replenish necessary stock. Utilizes appropriate computer system to create and print open order reports, shipment packing lists and other related reports.
