Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for performing the daily processing of inbound/outbound shipments and keeping records of all products shipped and received. Develop shipping documents and ensure all orders have been filled correctly. Responsibilities

  • Assure inbound trucks have proper documentation and verify incoming shipments through physical counts
  • Order truck and rail cars for shipment
  • Track demurrage reasons related to rail cars
  • Process outbound shipments in a timely manner and assure proper documentation and correctness of material involved including a photo log
  • Consolidate paper flow from yard and post correct information to proper location or person
  • Monitor shipments to ensure that customer specific requirements are met
  • Participate and contribute to company safety program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
