About The Position

As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you will represent Envision Cold to drivers, customers, and staff. This role requires you to maintain organization and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written, are crucial for success in this position and for the business as a whole. The company currently has two opportunities for this role, one with a Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM shift and another with a Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM shift. Flexibility to work overtime, including before and after normal shifts, as well as on Saturdays and/or Sundays, is required due to business demands and peak seasons.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Shipping and Receiving experience required.
• Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Fluency with the English language, including high proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Good attendance record and good work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize needs and reassess business demands.
• Capable of working in a very fast-paced and ever-changing day-to-day operation while being able to stay on task and multi-task as needed.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Typing speeds of 45+ wpm.

Nice To Haves

• Ideal candidates will be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipping and receiving information, prepare documents, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other necessary paperwork.
• Communicate with carriers to establish efficiency with shipping and delivery of products.
• Sign drivers in and out.
• Direct carriers to dock doors upon arrival and update in system to ensure accuracy upon unloading/loading of goods and materials.
• Organize and prioritize workload, working with tight deadlines.
• Assist with coordinating the activities of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
